Hi there. My name is Ollie and I’m a digital marketing executive here at Koozai. My top milestone for 2011 was the development of personalised search. For those of you that don’t know what personalised search is, it’s where it changes your search results based on: 1) IP address, 2) a cookie in your browser, or 3) whether you’re logged in with your Google account.

Now what we’ve seen in 2011 is that the results have become even more social. So it will show if you shared something. It’s also starting to integrate the +1 feature. It’s also starting to display even more real time results from networks like Twitter.

So what I think is going to happen in 2012 is keyword research is going to have to be even tighter than it already is. You’ve got to keep integrating social as much as you can and try to keep pushing unique, fresh content.
