(This is the transcript from our new video so it may not read as well as a normal blog post would)
Hi, I’m Stacey, content marketing executive at Koozai, today I’m going to show you how you can use SEMrush to check the quality of keyword-targeted web content. After you’ve logged into SEMrush, you’ll want to make sure you’re in the Content Marketing Toolkit. Select SEO Writing Assistant and go to Get recommendations. This is where you’ll then add the keywords that you want your piece of content to target. Check your target audience and select Get recommendations. You can paste your text in here if you’ve already got some content ready or you can write it in the Quick Checker. Either is fine. Once you’ve selected Get recommendations, as you’ll see, I’ve already pasted my content in and I’ve been given a score at the top, so you can go through the different metrics to see whether there are any improvements that need to be made to your content. So it’ll look at readability, word count and any other issues. You’ll find that any issues are highlighted in red. And you’ll also find that it will give you some further recommended keywords which it thinks you should pop into your text. So you can go through your content or write your content in this checker and make sure that everything is accounted for. Once you’re happy, you can copy your text out of the Quick Checker and then if you need to come back to it, you’ll find that it’s stored in your documents list, so you can always revisit if you want to make any further tweaks. Thanks for listening. I hope you find this tool useful for previewing your online content.
