The dust has barely settled following our recent win at the European Search Awards and now Koozai have received another nomination. This time we’re in the running for the Digital Business of the year at the Digital Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
As always, it is fantastic to be recognised for our hard work at Koozai. In many ways, receiving a nomination for a non-industry honour such as the Digital Entrepreneur of the Year Awards feels like an even greater achievement. We’re in a tough category though with some great companies competing for the award – including Skyscanner, The Digital Learning Marketplace, Blueleaf and MonsterSlippers.co.uk.
As the name suggests, these awards recognise the entrepreneurial spirit of individuals within the digital industries. Each year an array of the UK’s best and brightest brands are selected during the nominations process, from online-only stores to digital agencies. This year, for the first time, our MD, Ben Norman, will be among those in attendance and competing for the coveted award.
The presentation will take place on 16th October 2012 at the Hilton Hotel in Manchester and a full list of nominees can be found on the Digital Entrepreneur Awards website. Of course we will be keeping our fingers (and toes) crossed until then, and will let you know how we get on.
For a long time, Bing, the UK’s second-largest search engine, has been underappreciated and, in some instances, even ignored. Often regarded as the inferior search engine to market leader Google, Bing has historically struggled to appeal to many in the digital world.
