Hi I’m Stacey, Content and PR Specialist at Koozai. And today I’m going to show you a really easy and quick way to check the Domain Authority of a website by using this toolbar here at the top of the page. So Domain Authority is a ranking score between zero and 100 and it essentially predicts how likely a website is to rank on the search engine results pages. So it’s worth noting that sites with scores in the high 90s include the likes of the BBC and Wikipedia. And also multimillion pound High street retailers do quite well too, so Asos, Boohoo and M&S kind of score between the mid 80s and the early 90s. So it is really important to be realistic with your domain authority goals. So depending on the size of your business, a good benchmark to aim for is anywhere between 30 and 60. So to get this toolbar at the top the first thing you need to do is download the free SEO toolbar from Moz. So just search for the Moz bar in Google and navigate to this URL here. Once you’ve downloaded it it should automatically appear here in your Chrome extension list. If it hasn’t then just make sure it’s up here so it’s easy for you to access. You can then click on it, it will ask you to sign in and then on every site that you visit you will receive this toolbar across the top here. So you can easily see along here in this blue bar at the top what the Domain Authority is for that particular site that you’re on. You can also see a site’s Domain Authority in the Google SERPs too, which is really handy. So, whatever you’re looking at it will come up with this little bar here so you can see the domain authority of each site before you actually click through. So that’s just a quick way just to see the Domain Authority of a website. Thank you for watching.
