Last month, we tuned in to listen to our very own Samantha Noble become a radio star. As a guest on Xan Phillips’ The Business on Voice FM, a programme dedicated to promoting the good news stories about business from the Southampton area and beyond, Sam shared her insights into paid media.
You know Sam for being our Director of Strategy, along with of course winning the UK Search Personality of the Year, but on top of that, Sam’s an expert in paid media and travels the world to give talks on the subject matter, so it comes as no surprise that she had plenty to say on Xan’s show.
Sam was on air for around an hour talking about all things digital marketing and paid media with some of her favourite songs thrown in.
Sam’s jam-packed segment covered a range of digital-marketing-related topics, with a particular focus on paid media, including her predictions for the year ahead.
Sam also explained how businesses can benefit from good digital marketing and particularly how Google and Bing can benefit advertisers.
Sam went on to talk in detail about remarketing and getting the most from your advert, Facebook advertising and targeting and the ever-important audience data and insights – and how to make the most of them.
What’s great about Sam’s talks is that she explains complex topics in a way that’s easy for everyone to understand, so even if you’re not a paid media expert, you’ll be able to follow along in the show.
If you missed the show and are keen to broaden your paid media skillset or just interested in digital marketing, listen to award-winning Samantha Noble share her knowledge in this podcast.
After becoming popular for shining a light on local music, Xan Phillips turned his attention to local business. He invites business people from the South Coast to come and chat for an hour and throws in some of their favourite songs for an hour of interesting entertainment.
Tune in every Thursday between 6pm and 9pm to learn more about businesses on the South Coast.
For a long time, Bing, the UK’s second-largest search engine, has been underappreciated and, in some instances, even ignored. Often regarded as the inferior search engine to market leader Google, Bing has historically struggled to appeal to many in the digital world. Most PPC analysts would give justified reasons for neglecting Bing for so long; these include the volume of traffic and the user experience just not matching up to Google. However, the validity of these assessments is now diminishing. Bing has grown and improved rapidly in the last couple of years; if you are not integrating it into your comprehensive digital marketing plan, you run the risk of missing out on a large portion of your chosen market and significant revenue.
When it comes to building a content marketing campaign, it can be difficult to know where to start. You may have an initial idea but bringing it to life and getting your message seen are always harder than initially thought.
