It gives me great pleasure to announce that Koozai have been nominated for a Fresh Digital Award. We’ve been shortlisted in the Sites & Search category thanks to the exceptional results achieved for our Insurance2Go campaign.
The Sites & Search category recognises those marketing campaigns that have made full use of search technologies on order to meet the campaign’s marketing objectives.
In the case of Insurance2Go, the results for the campaign speak for themselves. Prior to the SEO campaign, the site was achieving 4,468 visits per month from search engines. Within a year of commencing work on the optimisation of the site, including extensive content marketing, this figure rose by 425% to achieve organic traffic visits of 23,491 per month. In addition to the increase in organic traffic, policy sales also grew significantly. In just seven months, search-based sales improved by over 500% from 161 to 1,009 per month.
This is the second time that we have received a nomination from the Fresh Awards, having been shortlisted in 2011. Having won the Silver award last year, we’re hoping to go one step further this time around. However, it’s always gratifying just to be nominated, particularly within such a competitive field and for such a prestigious award. We’ll be up against some great campaigns from a host of Digital Marketing Agencies, so we wish all nominees the best of luck – although we will still be keeping our fingers crossed.
While we’re delighted to have been nominated for another award, we’re even happier with the results that have been accomplished by our client during this campaign. Ultimately these award nods are only gained by ensuring we do our job properly, helping sites to achieve their potential online. This is just further evidence that we must be doing something right.
For a long time, Bing, the UK’s second-largest search engine, has been underappreciated and, in some instances, even ignored.
