We are looking for someone to work 3 days a week for an initial fixed period of 3 months as a Business Development Executive.

Koozai is a respected Digital Marketing Agency who operates a remote-working model but that also has office space in Hampshire, London and Lancashire. We specialise in helping businesses to connect with their customers online. Our team is built of recognised specialists working on SEO, digital PR, paid search, paid social, PR and content marketing campaigns for leading brands across many sectors.

What it’s Like to Work at Koozai

The Role

As Business Development Executive you will capitalise on the customer relationship database we have. You will audit it, cleanse it and offer help to the contacts within it, whilst representing Koozai in the best possible light.

We are searching for a personable, thorough individual, who can contact prospective clients via telephone and email with the goal of ascertaining whether they might be interested in our services and products and then scheduling time for our Client Services Managers to have a consultation with them.

You would also be responsible for maintaining logs of the calls made and any follow up notes in our CRM system.

To be successful as our Business Development Executive, you should be determined to achieve and surpass each of your work-related goals. Ultimately, an outstanding candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of the sales process, including ways in which to garner clients’ interest in having a call with our Client Services Managers

This position includes flexible and remote working, meaning that you’ll be able to work from home while still having the option to meet up and work with colleagues at our Hampshire office, based in Lee-on-the-Solent, when all Coronavirus restrictions have been removed.

Essential Skills

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven, successful, experience in telesales, appointment setting or as a sales representative
• An understanding of digital marketing services; particularly SEO, content marketing digital PR and paid media
• Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• The ability to multitask and quickly switch focus
• An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Computer literate
• CRM database experience. Prior experience of InfusionSoft an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
• Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
• Work as a team player whilst being able to work on set individual performance goals and KPIs
• Top-notch verbal, listening, written, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent phone etiquette and a professional and courteous disposition
• Persuasive and results-oriented
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver results
• Proactive approach to workload and new ideas

Duties and Responsibilities

CRM system
• Undertake data audits
• Routinely cleanse and maintain our CRM system
• Update CRM system with complete and accurate business and contact information
• Add the relevant tags to prospects so they can be segmented and targeted as needed for sales and marketing purposes
• Data entry

Telesales/appointment setting
• Contact prospective clients via telephone to ascertain interest in our products and services
• Field basic questions and concerns about the products and services we offer
• Follow-up via email and keep the CRM database fully up to date at each stage
• Keep accurate logs of numbers dialled each day, including calls which were not answered or where no-one relevant was contactable
• Accept calls from prospective clients as they arise
• Schedule appointments/ consultation time in for the CSMs to have a more in-depth conversation with hot prospects
• Send prospective clients follow-up information as needed to nurture them through the funnel

New business support
• Compile lists of sales leads
• Delegate sales leads to the relevant individual
• Run weekly reports on activity and results

General
• Target realisation
• Lead assessment
• Individual KPI management
• Ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and deadlines met
• Report creation
• Communication logging via CRM
• Problem / issue escalation
