The Role

This is a unique opportunity for an astute and commercially aware sales person to join our established and dynamic agency. This role would be based in our Southampton office with some travel involved to meet prospective clients across the UK.

As part of the business development team, you will be responsible for selling digital marketing to a diverse range of clients. You will be required to generate new business, develop our partner channel to help grow our network of partners, deal with incoming leads and manage existing account up-sell opportunities, over the phone as well as in face-to-face client meetings.

The ideal candidate will be proactive with great enthusiasm and motivation. The candidate will be intuitive and creative within the Internet marketing field and possess strong organisation skills. You should be confident and out-going with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and partners to meet their needs.

Required Skills

  • Experience of working in a fast paced sales environment
  • The ability to deliver against targets
  • Results driven individual that pushes themselves to get the most out of a situation
  • Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Work as a team player whilst being able to work on set individual performance goals and KPIs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and literacy skills
  • Proven sales record in previous roles
  • Show a willingness to learn, research and use initiative
  • Commercial awareness to drive businesses forwards

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience of working in a similar digital marketing business development role
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Pay Per Click (PPC) and other digital marketing methods
  • Google AdWords Certified Individual
