As we reported last month, we were originally nominated for two awards: Best Local Campaign and Best Blog, and we were up against some extremely strong competition, so we are over the moon to be able to win one of these prestigious awards.
Now in its third year, the UK Search Awards, which was last night hosted in London’s Emirates Stadium, was launched by Don’t Panic, in association with Manual Link Building and SEMPO. It collects together some of the biggest and best names in the UK digital marketing sector, and it was great to see so many fantastic up and coming search companies recognised for their contributions to the industry.
To be nominated for not one but two awards was an honour, and to be able to take home Best Blog at the end of night is an amazing victory for our team; especially considering all the hard work and dedication they’ve put into filling it with consistently strong content, crafting it into the valuable resource it is today.
Since our rebrand and re-launch in early 2012, we’ve strived to create a blog that focusses on quality over quantity. Updated daily with long form content, each member of our staff is given the freedom to explore their interests within the digital marketing industry, and is able to use the blog as a platform from which to showcase their ideas in an in-depth, and perhaps most importantly, visible manner.
We’ve also developed an insightful bank of information in the form of our Koozai TV videos, in which each member of our team is able to partake in and exhibit their skillset and knowledge across a wide-spread audience.
We’d like to take a moment to thank the organisers of the UK Search Awards, Don’t Panic, for throwing such a wonderful event; the panel of judges, for nominating Koozai and selecting our blog to win; and perhaps most importantly, all the guys and girls at Koozai, for constantly creating such great, award winning content.
The UK Search Awards marked the end of the 2013 award season for Koozai, and the accolade for Best Blog makes a fantastic addition to the other awards, including the DADI, Transform and Wirehive 100 awards that we have proudly won in 2013.
