Building a strong backlink profile, positioning a client as an expert in their field, fostering positive sentiment towards a brand, or simply raising its visibility – these are all ingredients of the proactive communications strategy that Koozai’s PR team work tirelessly to achieve.
That’s why, this month, we’re delighted to announce that our efforts have earned us a place on the shortlist for the #UKSearchAwards – Best Use of PR in a Search Campaign; recognising the amazing results we’ve achieved for our client Better2Know.
Regarded as the premiere celebration of SEO, PPC and content marketing in the UK, The UK Search Awards attract hundreds of entries from elite search and digital agencies across the UK and internationally.
Koozai have been working with Better2Know, the UK’s leading private provider of sexual health testing services, since 2018. In that time, we’ve outreached four unique stories for digital PR, which have included creating a series of myth-busting tips about STIs, and a league table revealing the UK’s STI hotspots.
We’ve achieved coverage in such coveted titles as Huff Post, the Sun, Daily Star, Cosmo and the Mail Online, and even landed a Metro.co.uk podcast! Overall, our outreach activity has resulted in a massive 122 per cent year on year increase in referring domains to Better2Know.
Here’s what managing director, Sophie Roberts, had to say about the news:
“The world of Digital PR is more challenging than it’s ever been – journalists are harder to impress, audiences are harder to engage and competition between brands for media coverage is fierce. But our successes with this client – and others – show that digital PR can still be incredibly effective, even on a small budget, when creativity is applied. We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for this award and very proud of the team.”
Koozai has had a great 2019 with some really exciting new client wins, and we’re looking forward to celebrating even more success in 2020!
