Implications of Mobile Web Discussed In Online Course

15th Feb 2011 News, Industry News Less than a minute to read

Checkin PhoneMobile web is changing the way people use the internet, with half of all new connections coming from smartphones and similar devices.

That is according to Google’s Inside AdWords blog, which explains to users of pay per click services it is possible to target this new audience and reach more customers.

Its free online interactive course tomorrow (February 16th) will tackle the issue and look at how to start using mobile advertising.

The session gets underway at 15:00 GMT and lasts for one hour, with a question and answer session at the end.

According to a previous blog post from the same source, mobile web has dramatically changed customer behaviour around the world, with businesses having to keep up with this trend in terms of their marketing.

Tomorrow’s course will explain to companies which trends they should be aware of and how they can adopt strategies to deal with these changes.

Most PPC analysts would give justified reasons for neglecting Bing for so long; these include the volume of traffic and the user experience just not matching up to Google. However, the validity of these assessments is now diminishing. Bing has grown and improved rapidly in the last couple of years; if you are not integrating it into your comprehensive digital marketing plan, you run the risk of missing out on a large portion of your chosen market and significant revenue.
