February 21st 2015 marks the date that Koozai will be celebrating nine triumphant years in the Digital Marketing industry.
However, as that day falls on a Saturday this year, we’ve decided to celebrate today instead, and have treated the team to some tasty donuts from Krispy Kreme.
These last nine years have flown by, and it seems like only yesterday I was signing the papers and turning Koozai into a limited company.
2014 was a huge year for our brand, so let’s take a look back at some of the highlights:
Whilst we’ve had to say goodbye to a few valued team members and friends, we’ve also acquired a host of budding new talent to help expand our family this year, including Luke and Sophie on our Digital Marketing team, and our latest Content Marketing recruit, Jenny.
Our trusted clientele list has also grown exponentially, as we’ve won contracts with national clients such as renowned takeaway pizza business Papa Johns, and the UK’s biggest martial arts equipment supplier, Blitz Sports.
We’re also proud to be working with smaller, local companies as well, including Gosport-based packaging supplier Speedy Pack.
This growth in business has not gone unnoticed either, as we were honoured to be nominated for ‘Best Use of Search in the Finance Sector’ at the UK Search Awards 2014.

This year has also been great for both attending and speaking at industry conferences too. We’ve sent our staff to events such as Brighton SEO, MeasureFest, SES London and SMX London.
We’re not content with just attending though. Our team have spoken at some of Europe’s hottest Digital Marketing events, including On The Edge, Content Marketing Show and Search Congres in Amsterdam (our first international event!).
Of course, no yearly roundup would be complete without reviewing our fun-filled company events, and this last year has been no different. From the inflatable antics and outdoor hog roast of our action-packed summer event, to the silly selfies and daring dance-offs at East Horton Lodge last Christmas; our team have had buckets of fun this year!
We also want to take a moment to thank all our wonderful team, clients and readers, who have helped shape us into the company we are today. Without your dedication and vision, Koozai would never have prospered.
So, it’s full steam ahead into 2015, as a number of new developments and opportunities present themselves.

Last month, we tuned in to listen to our very own Samantha Noble become a radio star. As a guest on Xan Phillips’ The Business on Voice FM, a programme dedicated to promoting the good news stories about business from the Southampton area and beyond, Sam shared her insights into paid media.
The Drum Network has launched a new initiative called ‘Create Britain’ which aims to show the world that Great Britain is still an awesomely creative marketplace, despite Brexit.
Create Britain is an online interactive map that invites businesses from the creative industry to contribute a short video to claim their own pin on the map that links to their video clip. The video clips need to answer one question: ‘What makes British creativity so great?’.
