What it’s Like to Work at Koozai

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of SEO to head up our small yet growing SEO Team. This role can be based from either our Southampton or London office.

The main part of your role will be to develop on the existing framework to further establish the team and agency’s offering to its clients. The role will not just encompass managing the team, you will also get involved with some of our top accounts and be instrumental in the continual growth of our SEO services.

You will be responsible for safeguarding our best practice and ensuring the team delivers the best results for each of its clients.

As Head of SEO we would actively encourage you to speak at some of the leading conferences in the UK, and across the globe, to help us promote the Koozai brand and our SEO abilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Managing the existing SEO team
  • Collaborating in creative planning and client brainstorming sessions
  • Analysing campaign performance
  • Assisting in the management of key accounts
  • Team training and support
  • Championing new tools, services and techniques
  • New business support and pitching
  • Team KPI management

Required Skills

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • At least one years’ experience in a similar role managing and growing a team, agency side would be desirable but an in-house background is also sought after
  • Years of hands-on SEO experience doing the doing
  • Ability to recruit and train other team members to an excellent standard
  • In-depth understanding of search engine marketing
  • Proven track record for delivering results from SEO projects including examples of recent work
  • Experience using Google Analytics to measure and report on results as well as other relevant tools and services
  • Knowledge and experience with HTML
