Companies interested in using YouTube as part of their online marketing efforts have been invited to take part in a beginner's guide to the channel.

YouTube Marketing Course to Be Held Google is running a one-hour online course presented by a YouTube specialist tomorrow (November 17th), taking place from 15:00 GMT.

Gordon Zhu, a member of the Inside AdWords team at Google, said businesses that use the website effectively can increase the strength of their brand and draw more traffic to their own pages.

"YouTube can further enhance your current online advertising campaigns with millions of ad impressions and video ad streaming opportunities, so that you create the high-profile online presence that your website needs," he added.

The seminar will include details on the basic methods for using YouTube and how to make the most of a presence on the site.

Earlier this month, users of pay per click services were invited to join in AdWords' tenth anniversary celebrations by creating a short YouTube video explaining how the offering has helped them.

So how about a link to register for the webinar?

Never mind, I can just google it down, but it you are not making any friends when a scraper / link builder blog links to you and then when I finally mange to find the link there to this page, you have not link here.

Hi Chris. You are absolutely right and sorry for any inconvenience caused by this. We don’t typically ‘report’ on webinars but that’s no excuse and a link should have been given. Thank you for taking the time to point this out.
