Marketing professionals may be interested in the thoughts of one of Google’s experts about its latest version of Top Search Queries
Writing in the official Google webmasters blog, Jonathan Simon, webmaster trends analyst for the internet company, highlighted the feature’s updates and improvements that have come as a result of feedback from users.
Mr Simon said that, due to requests, an "average position" has been included in the application that registers where a company’s site is showing in results for particular terms
Furthermore, a "starred" tab is now available to users who want to research a search query that is of interest to them.
This development may interest marketing managers, including those who use professional SEO services as part of a wider online strategy to promote their company to potential customers.
Google states that the mission of its internet services is to "organise the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful."
