Marketing managers may be interested by the news that Twitter is to launch its own business feature.
The real-time information network has investigated means to generate revenue including paid tweets or advertisements, as Search Engine Land reported last week.
Now it has been confirmed that beta testing of the application has begun that may benefit marketing professionals who employ an SEO company as part of its online strategy.
Mashable reports that a small number of businesses are receiving emails for the Twitter Team inviting them to participate in the testing and it confirmed that the network is planning to expand in the future.
One of the key points of the new addition will be for companies to accept tweets from individuals they do not follow.
"This is huge for businesses that perform customer service via Twitter: they can get feedback and deal with private customer issues without having to follow the person back first," the publication noted.
