Text ads have been recommended as a good addition to search campaigns.
According to Emel Mutlu, marketing manager of the Google Display Network (GDN), the ad format is easy to create and edit for users of SEO services.
“Simply opt your search campaign into the GDN and your ads will show to users as they surf relevant web pages via our contextual targeting technology,” the expert explained.
It was added that such adverts can appeal to users who typically ignore display ads, while they can give a search campaign wider reach as not every publisher may take display ads.
Last month, the GDN marketing manager stated that Google’s Double Click AdPlanner service can give companies greater insight into their potential audience and customers.
It can do this by applying site ranking methods that allow businesses to see what other websites are most likely to be visited by their target audience, it was suggested.
