SEO ‘Should Not Be Confused With Search Engine Friendly’

Understanding SEO is different to having a website that is simply search engine friendly.

SEO 'Should Not Be Confused With Search Engine Friendly' This is the warning of an advice piece from Search Engine Watch, which tells users of SEO services that the technique is different to just designing an effective website.

"Many times people will build what amounts to a search engine friendly website without truly understanding how to build a search engine optimised website," it explains.

For example, it is necessary to look at URL structures to see what would get the best results on search engine results pages and this may differ greatly from one that comes from a successful site.

Another way to boost SEO efforts is to carry out keyword research and determine exactly which phrases are most relevant to the services or products on offer, the news source notes.

A previous article from the same website suggested people optimise their URLs and include keywords in this element.
