Having an effective SEO strategy should be a vital part of a company's online marketing efforts, it has been advised.
In an article published on the Journalism website, columnist Daniel Thorley stated that businesses looking to increase their web presence and online sales should carefully investigate various SEO expert services to find the provider who can help them out the most.
"SEO has become an essential web marketing tool and one that often requires professional help," he said.
"If managed correctly however, the benefits of a successful campaign can far outweigh the costs."
Mr Thorley recommended that businesses determine what services would be most beneficial to their organisation's operations before choosing which SEO company they feel would be best to work with.
Last week, Search Engine Land commentator Stephan Spencer said that it is a good idea for businesses to conduct keyword brainstorming sessions before embarking on an SEO campaign.
