Online marketers are being told that the best way to take advantage a cramped market on the web is to take your product as freshen up the way it is sold to the customer at the other end of a computer.
PPC Blog warns the pay per click area is competitive with may advert selling similar products.
However, the blog noted that marketers are face with three options: cutting prices and lower profits; maintain prices and accepting a small market share with the possibility of losing money later or be able to find a new selling point to keep the product fresh.
"Take you product or service and give it a new twist and have a long term plan to do so regularly," it said.
These sentiments could interest marketing managers including those who use pay per click service
But professional are warned not to sit on a market advantage, as "copyists" can erode that strength, but to be prepared to change even in a good position.
Meanwhile, as Search Engine Land reports, brand links to searches could be another way to gain advantage should Google roll out its new tool.
