There are plenty of different things to consider when running online advertising campaigns, it has been suggested.

Plenty to Consider 'When Running Pay Per Click Campaigns' Ann Donnelly, an expert in SEO and social media, advised that pay per click services can prove to be an effective marketing strategy if employed correctly.

She told Search Engine Journal that website hosts would be wise to consider what their users will choose to click on and which search phrases they will use prior to optimising a site.

Ms Donnelly added that it is important to have an idea in mind of when the site's potential visitors will be surfing the internet and in which geographical area they are located.

Additionally, assessing what landing page content will help to convert targets into real customers in the most effective way could help ensure an online marketing campaign runs smoothly.

Earlier this month, Search Engine Watch commentator Jason Tabeling said it is a good idea to combine pay per click and SEO strategies when attempting to bring in more online custom.
