Pay Per Click Users ‘Should Keep Up With Industry Changes’

Companies running paid search campaigns have been advised to work on keeping up with the latest industry developments.

Pay Per Click Users 'Should Keep Up With Industry Changes' Josh Dreller, a columnist for Search Engine Land, explained that things are constantly changing the field of pay per click services and it is important to stay on top of what is going on.

He suggested that one good way to do this is by following the official blogs run by Google AdWords, Yahoo! and Microsoft adCenter.

"[They] are solid sources of content in our industry and will keep you abreast of the various changes to the platforms, terms and conditions, new tools, engine webinars, etc," he explained.

Mr Dreller added that these blogs are typically not updated everyday, so checks on them can be carried out on a weekly basis.

In a post earlier this week, the Google AdWords blog invited its readers to become involved in the tenth anniversary celebrations of the service through posting a video on YouTube about how their company has employed its pay per click offerings.
