Companies which make use of paid search campaigns are typically highly motivated to draw in new online business.

Pay Per Click Advertisers 'Are Focused on Improving Sales' Writing for Search Engine Land, columnist Shirley Tan explained that users of pay per click services are often keen to improve their internet sales in a number of different ways.

She said that over the years she has noticed the ecommerce store owners who allocate a large portion of their budgets to the advertising channel are the most dedicated to this goal.

"Those who spend the most on paid advertising are also the most disciplined when it comes to improving their site's conversion and the overall efficiency and profitability of their business," Ms Tan stated.

Earlier this week, Google AdWords ran a tutorial covering the topic of how pay per click advertisers can maximise the return on their marketing spend.

It offered advice on getting the most out of target markets and ensuring conversions take place.
