Yahoo!'s paid search results are to be powered by Bing from the middle of October, it has been announced.
Last week, the transition of organic search results between the two search engines was completed in the US and Canada and now the second step in the process is set to get underway.
The Yahoo! Search Marketing blog advised users of SEO services with one of its accounts to begin making the transfer to a Microsoft Advertising AdCenter account.
It said that the transition is expected to be completed by the end of October.
"Until this process is complete, you'll still need to actively manage your Yahoo! Search Marketing account to have your ads displayed on Yahoo! and our partner sites," the company's blog advised.
Satya Nadella, senior vice president for the online services division of Bing, said an international roll out of the changes is due to take place once the North American switch has been completed.
