Online Marketing ‘Need Not Be Expensive’

Businesses should not see online marketing as an expensive option, according to one industry source at a recent conference.

Online Marketing 'Need Not Be Expensive' Speaking at last month’s CarbonCopyPRO live Las Vegas advertising event, internet marketer Penelope Cox pointed out that there are several free options that can be used alongside pay per click services.

She claimed tactics such as blogging, keyword research and press releases can be used, as well as emerging areas, such as social media and video marketing.

In her view, this is where online promotions differ to offline advertising, in that a great deal can be achieved without spending very much money.

"Once a person finds the right internet marketing education resource for their needs and mentors to guide their education, then stop searching, get out of the books, get onto the computer screen," explained Ms Cox.

Recently, Jill Whalen advised online companies on ISEdb.com to keep SEO issues at the forefront when redesigning a website, since they may otherwise lose existing users.
