Google's Mobile Keyword Tool could suit businesses looking to capitalise on advertising via smartphones and similar devices.

New Google Tool 'Could Propel Mobile Search Marketing' A Search Engine Land commentator explains the tool "has the potential to ignite mobile marketing and propel mobile web marketing into orbit".

Users of SEO services looking to make their way into this sector may find this suggestion particularly interesting.

The article goes on to note the advanced options of the tool allow users to gain keyword ideas for mobile WAP queries, as well as full internet browser searchers.

Mobile query demand was found to be useful, as it provides a very powerful statistic for companies to act upon.

Google outlines the tool as a whole and expects it to be used by those keen to make the most of the current trend for mobile searches.

The organisation revealed its own queries through this medium have increased by more than five times, with the third quarter of 2010 seeing a 130 per cent jump.
