Google has developed a new series of apps that could improve the experience enterprises have when using its services.

New Business Apps Developed By Google The firm points out that the number of businesses, organisations and other professional SEO services using its applications has now reached more than 25 million.

One of the developments is the Smart Rescheduler Lab addition to Google Calendar, which allows companies to arrange meetings and appointments with groups of people who have busy schedules.

Another app keeps Gmail users alerted of any suspicious activity in their accounts, while the email delegation tool allows bosses to appoint people who can read, send and manage messages on their behalf.

"Now, a delegate can pick contacts from the manager’s contact list when composing a message on behalf of the manager and keep the manager’s contacts up-to-date," Google explained.

In other search engine news, Bing has launched a new location browser that allows people to pinpoint places mentioned in articles that they are reading on the internet.
