An expert has offered businesses advice on how they can get the most out of their digital sales network.
Writing for Netimperitive, Simon Piper, head of business development and partnerships at Consumerchoices.co.uk, explained that landing pages could be an excellent way of making the most of pay per click services.
He noted that they are a way to "optimise conversion" if a firm removes "distracting navigations" to ensure the user remains on the same page.
Mr Piper also pointed out that a brand’s partners will be "monitoring how well your website converts against the rates they’re paying, to work out your ‘earnings per click’".
This way they can "monetise" the amount of traffic they are sending to a particular domain.
Another way in which companies can make the most of a pay per click campaign is to ensure that the content of the advert is relevant to the phrase being targeted, the Weblinx blog asserted.
