AdWords campaigns will be more effective if keyword usage is carefully considered.

Keyword focus 'can improve AdWords campaigns' A PC Pro article pointed out that judicious use of AdWords services can help to improve e-commerce conversion rates.

"By setting up pay per click campaigns focused on small groups of keywords, you can then send potential customers to the right product page," it stated.

The report went on to advise that being as specific as possible can help in this area.

By putting product names into AdWords commercials, users of pay per click management service can expect to get more hits from relevant consumers, it was suggested.

Earlier this week, Inc columnist Minda Zetlin explained that online companies which improve their quality scores for AdWords can achieve higher rankings than those spending more on commercial space.

The commentator advised that scrapping ads and keywords that are not attracting traffic could help to successfully push up a quality score.
