Internet marketing has been introduced by a number of businesses keen to sell their services for Valentine's Day this year.

Internet Marketing 'Promotes Valentine's Products' The romantic event being held today (February 14th), has been capitalised on by a number of companies from various sectors, explains the San Mateo County Times.

They may have considered SEO services or other ways of enhancing their reputation in the run-up to the day.

"Many local businesses are now using internet marketing tools to attract customers," the publication reports.

Options such as offering special online-only deals may be particularly appropriate for companies such as spas and salons, which allow people to buy packages for their loved ones in advance of the event.

And firms might have also considered how they appear on mobile web devices, as Google's Inside AdWords blog recently said the gadgets are changing the way consumers behave, allowing them to interact and search for information quickly.
