Guest Blogging ‘Can Aid Link Building’

4th Aug 2010 News, Industry News | No Comments

WritingGuest bloggers can help drive a website up the ranking of search engines, it has been suggested.

According to an article by Search Marketing Weekly’s Greg Shuey, employing such people could be a great idea for companies looking to achieve more online through link building.

“Blogging is a really hot topic right now and links from relevant blogs are full of link juice that will launch your website to top rankings in the engines,” the commentator said.

Mr Shuey added that it is important such content has its links strategically placed.

He went on to advise that semi-automated blog networks could also be employed, but warned they will provide lower-quality links and should therefore be used alongside other link building strategies.

Last month, Business Blogs columnist Anna Gervai explained that having a blog on a website that provides valuable and informative content can help to increase links, boost search engine rankings and up internet traffic.
