Google’s DoubleClick Ad Planner service can help companies get a better insight into their potential customers and audience, it has been suggested.
According to Emel Mutlu, marketing manager of the Google Display Network, the free research tool can help users of SEO services to get “deeper and more robust” insight into how to attract internet users.
The expert said that site ranking methods can be applied that allow businesses to see which other websites are most likely to be visited by their target audience.
It also has features which let users pre-define their audiences using information they know about them.
“This can include geography, demographics, interests, sites they visit or keywords they search,” it was explained.
Last week, an article on the Engadget website suggested that Google is extending the possibilities of search.
It explained that the company has recently introduced its social search function, which allows people to link up their Google ID with their Twitter account to give more personalised results.
