An online course dedicated to explaining how websites can be best optimised for Google has been launched.
The four hour tutorial is also available on DVD and covers topics such as identifying test pages, implementing experiments and analysing reports.
Trevor Claiborne, a member of the Website Optimiser team for Google, told users of SEO services: "Advanced topics like sample size calculation, Google Analytics integrations and dynamic page testing are also covered among a wide variety of conversion optimisation and testing topics."
A series of short videos are included in the tutorial, while users have the option to watch it in small segments if they are pushed for time.
Earlier this week, figures by comScore for September 2010 revealed that Google had a 66.1 per cent share of the explicit core search market last month, putting it far ahead of nearest rival Yahoo!, which recorded a 16.7 per cent market share.
