Google has announced that its AdWords advertising system is now available on the new Apple iPad.
Discussing the matter on the official AdWords blog, the brand explained that the device is similar to high-end phones as it features a mobile operating system, runs similar apps and is suited to on-the-go web browsing.
As a result, Google has now included the iPad as a mobile device in AdWords so that businesses can ensure their pay per click services reach as many users as possible.
"With these high-end phones making up 50 per cent of mobile search queries, it’s highly valuable for advertisers to connect with these users," the organisation states.
To ensure their campaigns reach people using iPads, firms are advised to select "all mobile devices" under their AdWords settings.
In other news from Google, the search engine giant has recently introduced a new remarketing tool for its AdWords customers.
