Google has explained how it is helping businesses to achieve better advertising results by combing its own technologies with DoubleClick.

Google 'Improves Advertising Opportunities' with DoubleClick Writing on the firm’s official blog, Susan Wojcicki said that these developments have resulted in significant enhancements to the Google Content Network.

These include frequency-capped ads, support for third-party vendors, a beta of interest-based advertising and view-through conversion reporting.

Ms Wojcicki said that using these developments, Google believes it can "deliver more relevant, measurable ads that create more value for everyone."

This will mean that "users get more useful ads and these ads generate better results for advertisers and higher returns for publishers," she added.

Additionally, SEO marketing services will also be able to benefit from upgrades made by Google to DoubleClick’s ad serving technology.

Google has also been making updates to the way in which its AdSense customers receive their emails and alerts, as they are now available in five separate categories.
