by on 27th January 2011

A new tool being launched by Google Analytics will allow companies to see the number of unique visitors to their site within a specific period of time.

Google Analytics Launches New Metrics Tool The Google Analytics Data Export API now includes a total of 127 new dimensions and metrics that may be of interest to users of pay per click services.

As well as the useful visitor statistics, businesses can access organic search results and are able to learn the number of times that a search result page was viewed by users.

Those who use calculated metrics may also be interested to hear about the new offerings, which will make it easier to look up the most common report calculations.

Firms that need further guidance or assistance relating to Google's tools and products could take part in the organisation's free online training courses.

The latest session was held yesterday (January 26th) and discussed how AdWords can be used to exploit ecommerce opportunities.
