Google Advanced Search ‘Can Aid Link Building’

Google Advanced Search has been recommended to marketers looking to improve a website's online presence.

Kristi Hines of Search Engine Watch explained that link building can be enhanced when using the service, which allows for searches to be narrowed down to those found within a particular domain name.

"Depending on the number of pages within the website, you may want to add additional details, such as a particular keyword to get more specific results," she added.

Ms Hines went on to state that Google Advanced Search also contains an Examples section, so users will be able to take a look at some useful queries to enter and ways in which they can be employed.

According to Jeremy Bencken, another columnist for Search Engine Watch, link building can be done successfully with a variety of different website types.

These can include forums, blog posts, directory listings and other organisations that offer relevant content.
