Google Ad Planner has been recommended as a useful tool for companies interested in getting more hits on their website.
Gareth Owen of Search Engine Watch explained that link building is becoming more important to SEO campaigns, with high-quality links adding the most value to such schemes.
He explained that Google Ad Planner can help users to see what other sites have similar user profiles to their own, while also allowing results to be filtered by industry.
Mr Owen said this tool gives “a neat picture of what Google feels is a relevant link profile”.
“You can then export a list of the best sites to target,” he added.
Earlier this month, Emel Mutlu, marketing manager of the Google Display Network, said the DoubleClick Ad Planner service can help give users of SEO services deeper and more robust insight into how to attract users by examining what is successful on other sites.
