Firms ‘Should Allocate Budget for Mobile Web’

Companies should recognise the growing popularity of mobile web and introduce marketing techniques to deal with the change.

Firms 'Should Allocate Budget for Mobile Web' That is the view of a piece from Century City News, which advised users of SEO services and others on internet marketing trends for 2011.

"Regardless of your business focus, you need to allocate budget and headcount to mobile," it claimed.

Smartphones are leading this challenge, as consumers tend to use the gadgets to examine the online offerings of the companies they use, as well as considering their services.

And this should be seen as a priority for companies that are "bricks and mortar", as well as web firms, as they will all be affected by mobile web, the publication suggested.

Google recently hosted an online tutorial about the development, stating it is changing the way people use the internet.

More than half of all new connections come from smartphones and similar devices, the organisation noted.

I absolutely agree with this however, it is often thrown to the bottom of the pile and then the bottom of the pile is never reached because of other issues. Good post
