An expert has offered tips to businesses on how they can ensure that their website is user friendly and returns the best search and SEO results.
Writing for Search Engine Watch, Mark Jackson pointed out that firms should always focus on the customer when establishing their presence on the internet.
With this in mind, he drew attention to an article written by David Cooper for WebProNews.
In this piece, the author pointed out that some of the worst things for SEO are broken links, while HTML must always be validated, as this is optimal for searching.
Mr Jackson also quotes Mr Cooper as saying that an easy-to-read website is one of the most important things for SEO services to get right.
"Blogs are important to SEO because they use ‘human’ language in posts, as opposed to the corporate speak that can exist on many corporate web pages," he stated.
Meanwhile, Sam Tilston, marketing director at Memorybits.co.uk, recently advised that no matter how good a company’s products and services are, they will not sell if it does not have a strong web presence.
