Companies ‘Should Define Aims Before Picking SEO Partner’

Companies looking to improve their online presence should try to define their precise aims before conducting an SEO campaign.

Companies 'Should Define Aims Before Picking SEO Partner' Search Engine Watch columnist Adam Audette stated that it is important for companies planning to employ professional SEO services to know precisely what they need from their prospective partner.

Their choice of company should factor in whether they are looking for link building improvements, e-commerce conversions or CPM traffic increases, it was suggested.

"Defining what it is your site needs is the first step toward finding a quality SEO partner," Mr Audette remarked.

Earlier this month, his fellow Search Engine Watch columnist Eric Enge pointed out that it will take a company with a new website some time to attract traffic from search engines.

He said it will generally take around six months, with long tail keywords being more effective at first before the site goes on to generate hits from more generic search terms.
