Businesses Urged To Consider Mobile Marketing

Google has reminded businesses how important it is for them to ensure that their adverts are accessible to people using their mobile phone to browse the internet.

Businesses Urged To Consider Mobile Marketing Writing on its Inside AdWords blog, the search engine pointed out that according to the Kelsey Group, there are 54.5 million mobile internet users in the US.

This is the equivalent of 25 per cent of all internet users.

Because of this, companies may want to use professional SEO services and tools such as Google’s click-to-call to ensure that their mobile campaigns are relevant to people accessing the internet while on the go.

"With mobile click-to-call, Google allows customers to connect with businesses directly from their ads," the brand stated.

It also noted that it is easy to include these types of phone numbers in an advertisement, regardless of the kind of mobile device being used by the consumer.

Earlier this week, Google announced that it has included the iPad as a mobile device for ads run through AdWords.
