Bing has begun the rollout of its new Social Search service.
The new application has been developed in partnership with Facebook and sees search results contain links to web pages and online companies that have previously been 'liked' by friends of the internet user on the social networking site.
A Profile Search service has also been developed, which makes it easier to track people down on Facebook when using Bing.
The features have now been fully rolled-out to all users based in the US after a successful period of testing.
Paul Yiu, group programme manager for Bing, told users of SEO services: "We believe these changes will make the experience better for customers, allowing them to bring their friends with them into the Bing experience, making search more social, more personal and more useful."
The company made no official announcement on when the services will arrive in the UK and other territories.
