Bing is to set up a new Visual Search Gallery.
Companies employing SEO services have been informed of the change, which will allow internet users to revisit the previous month’s worth of pictures taken from homepages.
Stephanie Horstmanshof, managing editor of the Bing Community blog, said: “Now you can go back through previous homepage images to see what you’ve missed or revisit old favourites.
“You can sort by a variety of categories, including all the homepages featuring countries in Europe.”
She explained that by clicking on an image, users will be taken to a details page with more information about the photo and links to related pictures.
Earlier this month, Satya Nadella, senior vice president of Bing’s online services division, revealed that testing has started ahead of the search engine powering Yahoo!’s results.
The executive stated that Bing is aiming to deliver high-quality results and power search advertising for both firms.
