Google AdWords has announced a number of changes to its keyword tool after asking for feedback from its users.
Nathania Lozada, a member of the Inside AdWords team, explained to users of pay per click services three new ways to filter and refine keyword lists have been added.
The update allows specific terms to be included or excluded, a 'more like these' tab to present similar phrases to keywords already in use and the option to only get results related to the exact words entered into a search.
AdWords has also added a 'star' button to allow users considering different keyword combinations to highlight the ones they think are potentially the best and come back to them later.
Keywords can now also be viewed in a text format, so they are easier to edit and paste in a spreadsheet.
Adwords is currently celebrating its tenth anniversary and has set up a map of the world showing businesses which have benefited from making use of its services during its decade in operation.
