Google AdWords has officially launched a new website dedicated to helping small businesses with their online marketing efforts.

AdWords launches small business website Miles Johnson, a member of the AdWords team, told users of pay per click management services: "This new central learning hub allows you to share AdWords best practices and provides the key information you need to know to run a successful AdWords account."

The AdWords Small Business Center provides advice on how to write more effective adverts, along with giving tips on how to improve a website.

It will also feature the Inside AdWords blog, which will keep companies up-to-date with Google's latest activities with the service.

Last month, Mr Johnson told readers of the blog about the importance of quality scores to the performances of pay per click ads.

He stated that ratings are defined by factors such as relevant keyword usage, with the score having an important bearing on the position of a commercial in AdWords auctions.

You’d expect Google to take a few days off following the introduction of Instant, but since then we’ve had AdWords editor 8.0, the small business website and their new innovations website.
