An upgraded version of Google's AdWords Editor tool has been released for Windows and Mac.
Jason Shafton, a member of the Inside AdWords team, told users of pay per click services that the new Editor 8.5 should make it simpler for them to manage their accounts and optimise their use of the brand's new features.
"Among other additions, version 8.5 includes new tabs for managing Audiences, display ads created by the Display Ad Builder and WAP mobile image ads," he explained.
Anyone already using AdWords Editor will be prompted to complete the upgrade automatically by Google.
New research published by comScore this week has shown that the display ad market in the UK is growing at a considerable rate.
In the third quarter of 2010, more than 220 billion of the commercials were viewed by British internet users – 34 per cent more than the figure for the same period last year.
