Well Day One of Searchlove 2012 just flew by! We saw some great speakers and picked up loads of useful information to take back and use. Here’s a quick overview and a few pointers from each of the speakers.
So yesterday saw members of the Koozai team take on the Bupa Great South Run to support some great causes. It was cold and wet at times, but we conquered the adversities like any elite athletes would and in this Blog post we will give you the run down of the results and let you know how much we raised for our chosen charities.
The UK Social Media Communications Awards took place at The Radisson Edwardian Hotel in Manchester October 18th and praises the social media achievements of UK agencies and campaigns. Given the level of competition within the awards we are extremely delighted to have come away with this accolade.
On 28th October, 12 Koozai employees will be taking on the Bupa Great South Run to raise money for four separate charities. We have a real mix of people running (everything from an “Iron Man” to first time runners) so it should be an interesting event, and a great way to support good causes.
We’ve been given a double helping of good news on this fine Monday, with the announcement that Koozai are nominated in two categories for the Somecomms Awards 2012. As well as being in the mix for the Best Blog award, we’ve also been recognised in the Best Large Agency section, which is fantastic.
It’s that time of the year again when SEOs from around the country, including a sizable contingency from Koozai, converge on Brighton for the aptly named BrightonSEO conference. Kelvin, who organises the event twice a year, appears in penguin outfit to set to stage of this year’s September . This already looks to be another bumper day of interesting talks and surprises.
A big topic of conversation in recent weeks has concerned the ongoing debate between search engine giants Google and the British music industry’s trade association. The issue lies in illegal downloading sites and how easy it is to access these within Google’s search engine results pages. The knock-on effect of this means that thousands of people have the ability to download pirated music within just a few clicks on their computer.
We are pleased to announce that the Koozai blog is now available on the Kindle eReader. Users can subscribe to get daily updates from our blog including insights into SEO, Paid Search, Social Media, Brand and Analytics topics.
