Six months ago we made one of the biggest changes we’ve ever made to Koozai.com, and also potentially the most riskiest – we removed 30% of our content.
Here’s how we did it in a safe and controlled way and why we’re recommending you do the same.
In previous Koozai TV videos we’ve explained the reasons behind needing to monitor your brand and to identify all the times you’re mentioned online and on social media, whether that be positive or negative, as well as how to engage with those mentions. But what we haven’t looked at before are the best paid and free tools in order to actually see what people are saying about you and find those mentions in the first place. So today’s video is going to do just that. We’re going to go through four separate paid tools that we’ve tested internally, and five tools that won’t cost you anything, that do similar results. Then we’re going to compare the two.
With so many different directions to head in it can be hard to prioritise one marketing channel over another. Thankfully the below Infographic from WebDAM compiles the latest research on content marketing, email marketing, SEO, PPC, Social Media and more, giving a quick insight on where you should invest your time this year.
Yesterday we held our most successful #koozchat to date, with 33 participants discussing how Content Marketing is going to evolve over the next 12 months. Including the future for guest blogging & reviews, the most effective tactics for 2014, the effects of Google Hummingbird and how to create content for boring industries.
Every client has different needs and goals and no two pieces of content will meet those requirements in the exact same way. To help with this today’s infographic from Copy Press offers a clear look at how you can tie every step in the creation of content together in a way that makes your clients happy.
It’s a myth that Facebook advertising is easy. Often people will say that it’s far easier to do than Google AdWords and that essentially all you need to do is upload an image and some text and just leave it, and you’re done. That’s strictly not true. Facebook advertising has many nuances of its own that can be tweaked to get far better performance.
For our 8th Koozchat, 24 people got together to discuss the future of Digital Marketing. We covered SEO, Content Marketing, Paid Search and Social Media with lots of interesting views on the challenges 2014 will bring. You can find all of the responses below.
At Koozai we love SEO and PPC and have been using both channels on a mixture of clients for over eight years, yet we’re often asked which is better. With SEO and PPC sometimes seen as natural enemies we thought it would be helpful to pit the two against each other and see which is right for different scenarios.
