Baidu is currently the principal search engine in China, and China is a huge country with over one billion people. That’s a lot of potential internet users doing a lot of searching. Here are some interesting stats before I start. In the year 2000, there were only 22 million people with access to the Internet. That’s just 1.7% of the population. By the year 2011, that number went up to 513 million, an astonishing 2,180% increase.
China has consistently been one of the fastest growing economies in the world for the past decade. Read More
The internet by nature is a fast growing medium. It’s been rapidly evolving ever since it was first conceived. So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that a relatively young industry such as SEO is also in a constant state of evolution.
SEO constantly evolves– it has been a hot topic in the industry for a while, with SEOMoz adopting the term “inbound marketing” and creating Inbound.org, combined with rumours that will be dropping SEO from their brand, becoming simply Moz. All this hype from certain thought leaders (no names mentioned) have spread like a virus among the industry.

Hi my name is Arnold and I’m a Digital Marketing Executive here at Koozai. Today I will be going through the main ad format changes Google has made in the past year. Before I start I’d just like to wish everyone a very happy festival season and prosperous New Year.
In order to predict 2012 Google Algorithm changes we need to first look at 2011. Read More
Google is always looking for ways to be more relevant and what better way to be more relevant than providing the searcher with detailed information about a business, such as additional site links, addresses and phone numbers, product prices and descriptions, and even click to call phone numbers on the mobile. With ad extensions, each one gives your ad additional information, which means more screen real estate for you on the all important Google results page.
In my last post I went through a list of 28 top link building resources, if followed correctly and with a bit of creativity you shouldn’t have any problems with search engines while your rankings continuously improve.
However, as I mentioned in the previous article, some people still believe all links are good links – quantity over quality. This kind of attitude not only negatively affects your rankings, but in extreme cases can actually get you de-indexed completely from search engines.
